ATF Investigating Suspicious Package / Substance at Arizona Supreme Court in Phoenix
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the package was delivered to the Arizona Supreme Court around 8 a.m. Inside were multiple vials, two of which tested positive for homemade explosive materials.

PHOENIX — Authorities are responding to a suspicious package discovered Monday morning in the area of the Arizona State Capitol in downtown Phoenix.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the package was delivered to the Arizona Supreme Court around 8 a.m. Inside were multiple vials, two of which tested positive for homemade explosive materials.
As a precaution, several nearby buildings near 15th Avenue and Washington Street were evacuated, including the state court building that houses the Arizona Supreme Court and the Arizona Court of Appeals, Division One.
The state court building remains closed while authorities continue a thorough search of the facility. Once the building is deemed clear, the package will be removed for additional analysis and safe disposal.
Officials have not released further details, citing the ongoing investigation. Phoenix police are assisting with traffic control in the surrounding area.
