An anti ICE protest took place Saturday morning near Power Road and Ray Road in Mesa, with demonstrators gathering around 11 a.m. before marching toward Mesa Gateway Airport.
Protesters voiced opposition to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), expressing concerns that deportation flights were operating out of the airport to return undocumented immigrants to their countries of origin. The group proceeded along nearby roadways as they moved toward the airport area.
From what was observed, the demonstration remained peaceful throughout the march. No property damage, confrontations, or arrests were reported.
